Harcum Show… SUCCESS!!

No surprises here, MACH ONE WAS AWESOME TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Troupe member Jesse Cohen (and his mother, to whom we are forever grateful) invited us to perform, and of course Mach One embraced the opportunity.  Only 8 members were able to perform due to LM’s finals this coming week, but the crowd was upwards of 40 people, who pretty unanimously loved the troupe’s performance.  Several people called the show “worth paying for” and at the end of the hour allotted to the troupe they were called upon for an encore game–one of, if not THE, best reviewed games of the night.

Thanks to those that came, troupe memebers and audience members alike, and once again a big thanks to Jesse (and his wonderful mother), and to Harcum for hosting us.  And of course, as always, stay tuned for more.

Last thing: please rate our performance in the sidebar poll!!

OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIMT SUCCESS!!

As you may or may not know, MACH ONE had a wonderful opportunity in teaming up with Lower Merion’s Math Club, Mu Alpha Theta, to serve as entertainment for upwards of 50 competing middle schoolers (and for the facilitators, too!) for 45 minutes.  An unlikely combination, but a HUGE success, with tremendously positive feedback from all (on a review survey, most put down MACH ONE as one of their favorite parts of LIMT), the troupe ended up, by audience request, performing for closer to an entire hour.

A special shout-out and huge thanks to Mu Alpha Theta for the awesome opportunity and a very well designed and run competition.

OH YEAH!!

We’re BACK!!

After a SUPER-LONG hiatus (btw our show with Jay Black was AWESOME)…

WE.

ARE.

BACK.

And better than ever, if I do say so myself, which I do.  This Wednesday will be a performance as entertainment for the Math Club’s middle school competition (shoutout!!).

Can’t wait for that performance, and for any/all catching-up and future posts.

OH YEAH!!!!!!!

Rate our last performance!!

With shows coming up this week, let’s take a moment to pause from the capital letters (just kidding, they’re later in the post).  According to our last poll, our Mr. LM performance (sans the Merionite-mentioned, infamous “Who’s gonna be Mr. LM” warm-up) was pretty good.

Well here comes our latest poll, directed at all those of you who attended the dance-a-thon.  Whatever you thought of our performance there, let us know by voting!!  Your voice is much appreciated–we can’t know what’s really good (or bad) without it!!

PLEASE VOTE NOW.  THE POLL IS IN THE SIDEBAR.

AND COME TO OUR SHOW THIS FRIDAY @ LMHS, ~5:45 TO ~6:45.

YOU ROCK YOU RULE GO YOU WOOOOOOOOOOOO.

SHOW THIS FRIDAY!!

Hey all!!  Our first official (mini-)show. The mini-show will be held in the LGI, free admissions and an open-door policy (aka anybody can walk in any time).  There is a ~125 person max capacity…. LETS FILL IT UP!! As of right now, 5:45 is the technical start time, but in reality the show is likely to begin between 5:50 and 6.  Depending on the number of people there, we will run for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, and play a variety of games!!

IT’S GONNA BE AWESOME, MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE.

(POSTPONED) SHOW SATURDAY!!!!!

Hey all, this is a VERY tentative post, but MACH ONE has a very real possibility of putting on an hour long show this Saturday, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.

UPDATES TO COME!! If it happens… BE THERE!!

SUCCESS!!!!!!

MACH ONE, OH YEAH’s debut, as entertainment-between-acts at the 2nd annual Mr. Lower Merion competition, was an all-too-short world premiere called by some “the best part of the show,” with others commenting, “I was hysterically laughing… we all were.”

The thrilling performance bodes well for the group that came into existence only a few months ago, and everybody is EXTREMELY excited for the upcoming months, in which 5 performances are already scheduled, with a 6th on its way.

If you haven’t been around the site, LOOK AROUND!!  There’s tons to explore, and always new additions being added!!  That’s all for now……. OH YEAH!!!!!!
